The Kansas City Zoo opened a new habitat for the endangered Sumatran tigers on July 26, 2012. Five times larger than their previous exhibit, the enclosure includes a stream, waterfall and bamboo. The two 8YO brothers, Manis & Langka, are among the 360 or so Sumatrans in captivity; unfortunately, there are estimated to be only 300 left in the wild.
